Parking is very limited here at Outrigger Paradise Resorts. One vehicle per cabin is encouraged. Guests should plan accordingly if bringing multiple vehicles.

The pool is located at Outrigger Resort and is open from May 1st - September 30th each year. Pool hours are from 10:00am - 8pm EST daily during the summer season. No glassware is allowed in the pool area. Swimming is at your own risk, there is no life guard on duty. All guests must shower off before entering the pool. Guests are required to bring separate swim suits for use in the lake and Indiana Beach Water Park due to algae that cannot enter the resort pool. We appreciate everyone's cooperation with this! 

Both of our beautiful resort locations offer boat dock rentals! For those interested in bringing their boat to the lake, our rentals are available for online bookings or you can call our office at (574) 583-4451 to book with a friendly member of our staff. Please be aware, Outrigger Paradise Resorts does not offer lake ramp access. Guests will need to plan for public ramp use and trailer storage. 

Lake Shafer does require a state fishing license. Purchase of a state fishing license is available online or locally at Rural King. 

Outrigger Paradise Resorts are pet-friendly locations, however, not all of our units allow for them. For units that are pet friendly, our guests are limited to bringing no more than two (2) furry friends along for their family vacation. Pets require a $50 pet fee, per pet for short stay bookings. Vet records with proof of vaccinations are required for bookings of 7 nights or longer. All guests bringing their four-legged family members are subject to additional fees or deposits. Please keep all pets on a leash at all times and pick up after them. Bag and dispose of all pet waste in the provided dumpster locations. All pets are to be kenneled if left unattended to avoid any damages made to the premises. 

There are several communal fire pits located at Outrigger Resort and one communal fire pit at Paradise Resort! Guests may burn firewood only in the fire pits. Please do not burn trash, pallet wood, or otherwise. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated!

All of our rental units are non-smoking facilities here at Outrigger Paradise Resorts! 

From 11:00pm to 7:00am EST guests are asked to adhere to quiet hours and keep noise levels at a reasonable level in respect of other guests.

All guests are asked to dispose of their trash in one of the provided dumpster locations on each property. Outrigger Paradise Resorts does not offer trash pick-up. 

For the safety of everyone, including our neighbors, Outrigger Paradise Resorts does not permit the use of fireworks on either property, including the boat docks. The city of Monticello does permit firework use over open water during certain times of the year. Please refer to city laws for details.

Outrigger Paradise Resorts requires primary registered guests to provide a valid debit/credit card to be put on file upon check-in for incidentals.

Guests are always required to conduct themselves appropriately and to comply with resort policies and/or requests about conduct and respect for the property of the resorts, its employees and guests and their health and safety. Guests are requested not to disrupt the comfort and enjoyment of other guests, the smooth running of the resorts, or cause offense to other gusts or our staff members. We reserve the right to refuse accommodation or services or remove you and members of your party from the resorts if, in our reasonable opinion, we consider this provision to have been breached. Where this is the case, management shall have no obligation to refund you for lost accommodation, other services or any other loss or expense incurred.
